ABOUT US

The Sundowners Golf Club was established in 1968.

We are a group of women who enjoy playing golf and having fun.

We play 9 holes of golf each Tuesday evening at Three Lakes Golf Course in Malaga, WA.  
 Our focus is on golf etiquette and rules.

We leave actual golf instruction to the pro staff at Three Lakes Golf Course.  

We are divided into two divisions with both divisions playing

on the same night and with one another.  
This allows us to have a good mix of players and if you are a beginning golfer you don’t have to compete

with the lower handicap players.

2022 ANNUAL DUES & FEES

Sundowners Dues:  $30

Golf Handicap and Information Network® (GHIN):  $39
Your GHIN can be attached to Three Lakes Golf Course or any other USGA course.
Three Lakes Club Fee:  $25

WEEKLY FEES

Greens Fee:  $14 + tax

Cart Fee:  $16 + tax

Game Fee: $3

Chip-in Pot:  $1 (optional - but you can't win without opting in)

We usually have about 10-12 players every Tuesday night.

Each week we play the front nine at Three Lakes Golf Course.  

We start at 5:30 pm early and late in the season, but in the summer months we start at 5:45 pm.
We allow golfers to form their own groups and start every group on a different hole with tee times.  

We also have different challenges, or games, each week for all golfers.

Challenges include least putts, long drive, closest to the pin, and count only even or odd holes.

After golfing, we all meet in the clubhouse at Three Lakes Golf course where we can 

order food and drinks from the *Three Lakes Grill owned and operated by Harvey Taylor.  

While everyone is socializing, board members calculate the scores to determine the winners.
Cash prizes are awarded for low gross and low net in each division as well as
best scores for the night's challenge (game).

Visitors and guests are welcome to play two evenings paying just the weekly fees.  

After that, they are required to officially join the Sundowners Golf Club and pay the annual

dues and fees as specified above.

CLUB CHAMPION  AND PRESIDENT'S CUP

These two major awards are for low gross (Club Champion) and low net (President's Cup) winners for

the season.  The playoffs to determine the winners are held in early September.  To qualify, each player must

have played a minimum of 8 fronts and have one of the 4 lowest gross or net scores over

the months May, June, July, and August.

Both winners will have her name engraved on a perpetual plaque that is on display at the Three Lakes clubhouse.
